Local climbing crag: They are all so far away! The closest is probably Forest Rock in Leicestershire.
Favourite place you've climbed: I think I would have to say Albarracín, Spain. Fontainebleau coming in at a close second. I prefer the more physical style that Albarracín has to offer, I feel it suits my style.
Most likely phrase to scream if you fall off a climb: Hmmm... I'm not sure, my words are normally drowned out by my friend Patrick's laughter. What are friends for ay?
What's one thing your Dad always told you as a kid: Its all fun and games until someone gets an eye poked out.
Best advice you could give to a younger you: Matching makes you weak.
Does pineapple go on pizza: 100% all day every day.
I started climbing in 2004, at the tender age of 18. My first experience was at an indoor wall and from that moment, I was instantly hooked. I love both the physical and mental challenge that climbing brings and being able to push my own limits, to see what’s possible. I have dabbled in climbing competitions, winning the Irish Bouldering Championships back in 2012. However, my focus has always been outdoor bouldering, whilst enjoying the outdoors. As a climbing wall owner, husband and father my time is limited. Due to this I try to train as efficiently and effectively as possible, to help maximise my sessions and best prepare myself for my few and far between outdoor trips.
